While in paris (4 days back) i have visited a nice looking store called the La Cure Gourmande. Its like the butter biscuits that Americana sells in Kuwait;P but very tasty. You can smell the different flavors they have in each biscuit in the store, orange, rose, fig and many more. Plz dont think of franchising and think of doing something like it instead:)

I have seen many sweet shops like the ones in Kuwait; the sweet factory but this one is a new idea. Happy Pills is a sweet store in Barcelona, Spain. It sells the exact sweets found in the sweet factory Kuwait but it presents the sweets as a gift. They have these small bottles for customer to fill them in with sweets and attach a sticker to them. The store placed its self differently not like ordinary sweet shops. Like Parker pen if you remember it, its still places its self as a gift to give someone and not a pen.

Walking in the beautiful gardens of paris, i have noticed a segaway tour. They even get a small training too. Now think where can we use them in Kuwait?haaa? maybe the avenues;P

Walking around in paris, i have found velib. A bike rental startup where you can rent biks from any designated location, bike then drop it off some where else. Its the Avis of bikes. With the nice parisain weather, i think its a great service. Remember this business can not happens unless the paris municipality works with the velib company. Thats why the Kuwaiti government cant support entrepreneurship unless it embraces change.

Im dissapointed with the paris airshow, i cant belive that the Dubai 2009 one is much more exciting than the Paris one. Ive been to the Dubai air show in 2009. I thought that the Paris air show will be amazing and offers much more than the Dubai one, on the contrary the Paris air show is dull with boring planes and the air show sucked. You cant even enter one plane to see inside it, where in Dubai i even sat in cockpits and tested the electronics.

Due to the increase of online stores in Kuwait, I thought of sharing info about visa/master card and knet gateway options in Kuwait.

This post is about online payment and not in a physical store.

Ok knet is simple and can be installed with most banks in Kuwait, as an online payment service.  But to do so you need a company account. They would charge about 350KD one time fee and no monthly fee. Another charge would be 1% on every transaction.

With Visa/master card you have to pay the same amounts but with a monthly fee of 40KD and a transaction charge of 3%. But not all banks have such a facility online. I know that NBK and Burgan both provide  the service, and I do not recommended Burgan because there service is horrible.

One of my friends went to a training course in the states and saw this truck there, came back to me with the idea. I thought it was nice and easy to start and handle but the laws in Kuwait dont really help. You see in the states there are laws that companies must comply by for document shredding of customers. We do have a 15 year law for documents in Kuwait but when i asked who does the shredding its the poor cleaner who if sez NO to his boss gets fired. The cleaners are supposed to clean only and not shred but most companies in Kuwait for low cost reasons (being a cheap asses) they dont hire anyone else and just make the cleaners do this job too.

This is a new software that you can sign on using our styles pens, i think its a great technology but how legal is this in Kuwait? I would love to use this with digumz.com and become even more paperless business.

Softsign allows you to open PDF files and to add signatures by signing directly onto the screen with your finger or a stylus. You can then email the document directly from the App or send it to a third party App.

When I first saw the banner, I thought maybe it’s a new product or new newspaper that everybody is waiting for. Then when I noticed that the word concord is written on the boarder of the bill board and in the banner (ad) I thought to my self how dumb would someone think that people are waiting for the new billboard design (concord). Imagine the decision maker that said lets put a banner within the new billboard frames and say “it arrived”. What do consumers care if the billboard looked different in any way.
Please someone tell me that “it arrived” above is not what it means.

Redbox, movies for a dollor. See how the American business tries to make things more cheaper to the largets segment of consumers. Not like us here more and more luxuries services. Another nice thing to know is that Redbox is owned by McDonald.
