The reason for not posting the past day, was my visit to Failaka Island. I’ve been there a long time ago (1999), but my friends say it has changed and so we went,(in between the storms) Its a nice place “not wow” just nice, you can think of it as changing scenarios from the busy, crowded Kuwait to a quite place having old Kuwaiti tea. Two hotels are there, we rented a small Kuwaiti house, activities to do there are: Renting bikes, buggies, ATV’s, small manual gear cars. The island is huge and must be explored by car or bugy, the famous museum was closed, great clean beaches all over the island. For more information about the hotels call Safir hotel international, their going rate was 85kd per night but we had three rooms, three bathrooms and a living room. The other hotel rates go as low as 25kd for one room. Everything you need can be arranged by the Safir hotel, even the boat that takes your there and back. The island has a really nice family oriented feel.

ive heard soo much bout it!!/…..can girls wear a bathing suit without anyones eyes popping or giving u dirty looks??…do they have private beaches?? is it safe for girls to stay the nite??

I remember the good times there when I was a kid! I heard it could be better and hoing it’ll get! I loved it there, but that was before the gulf war I’m talking about!! Yes I’m old now!!

In search of treasure,, yes girls can go, guys cant, but there are no private beaches but abundant realy and scatterned around…cant promise guys not giving the “dirty looks”
