Toyota Alsayer caught red-handed!
Posted by: Qaiss in Corporate Issues, Kuwait, up and aboutSo what does new Prado cars coming into Kuwait being parked at E7san (ehsaan) do? for the folks that do not know what ehsaan is, he is the number on shop in Kuwait for changing car seats. So our friends at Toyota Alsayer import Prado jeeps that come in cloth seating and change them at ehsaan to turn them into Leather seats. How can poeple trust such a exclusive dealership with such fishy business. They claim the car is leather seats, charge you a hefty amount, and then only spend a small amount to convert it into leather at a Pakistani famous shop in Sharq at the first place. So if Toyota Alsayer is doing such acts i guess they have fooled us much more in many different ways, i have posted earlier how Lexus charges people by changing anything in the car for annual service requirements and give incentives to there employees based on such action. Back to the post you may ask your self, maybe someone else other than Toyota is importing these Prado cars but guess what: No one is allowed in Kuwait to import Toyota other than Alsayer. So the next questions comes, till when such companies monopolize the Kuwaiti market with there bad service and deceiving customers. Such action show that profits is the only desiocion maker, and anything else does not matter. Why cant such a market open up for better equipped Kuwaitis that would love to open there own dealerships and serve customer in an honorable way!

i always knew there was something wrong with their leather..
My mothers Lexus feels so cheap compared with the ones i tried in Dubai..
Oh my gosh,, now if al sayer we can’t trust, al ghanim charger triple the price and Volvo dont know how to fix their cars.. where can we buy a car in this country?

Damn, and I thought that Al sayer was one of the best! Inzain how do u know that these aren’t used cars bought by mkatib from the UAE for ex?

If it’s true that they send the cars to this store and change the seats to leather and claim it’s the original leather then it’s really very sad …

Damn! Thats insane! They are trying to cut corners at the cost of the consumer! No wonder Ehsaan is doing so well. Its sad that they are doing this. They are making a huge profit in the first place that they don’t need to do this.

take it easy guys…many customers in kuwait buy cars before registering them and putting on them a license plate because maybe a customer bought them to export them out of the country that could be another conclusion so instead of buying full option prado they opted to go with a low end one and get leather seats outside… and qais about your comment “serve customer in an honorable way” im sure that all dealers want to serve there customers in that way and there are many dealers in kuwait that do that porsche, nissan, toyota, honda, and many others run huge operations and many times you cant please everybody but believe me they try and compared to dealers in other countries in the mena region the dealers in kuwait are considered top notch!

Some say that these cars are bought by alsayer, changed into leather and exported to countires like pakistan or afghanistan, honestly thats what i got from car dealers, and as i said no one can import toyota cars in Kuwait except alsayer dealership. From the pictures you can see that the cars are new, with body stickers still on, i may be incorrect but we once nearly got ripped off by lexus so i guess they would do it in another way.

madri i’m not convinced, cuz if word spreads out (and it will), then it’s very bad for the company. I think it’s either makatib buying used cars, or maybe a company buys them to rent them or give them to their employees. It could be anything! But I think if Al Sayer wants to do that they’d change the seats on their own and khashashee, not put them ashkara in front of the store. They wouldn’t profit much anyway, compared to what they already make.

I think you should be 100% sure about what you are saying. If it is ture 3yal someone should do something about it. I always thought that Alsayer co. is one of the best in kuwait, especially the service.

no one can stop u from getting a toyota from saudi or uae where they are much cheaper + the prado leather seats come with heated seats u cant get heated seats on cloth

Al-Sayer is only one of many, I have come across many that are similar cases. Globalization will eventually make these occurances fade away (Inshalla).

not al sayer only even alzayani did the same , i have my friend he surprised when he find his maserati are parked in e7san to repair the leather . if he know that he will go directly to e7san and will cut the price to half .

مثال البرادو المستعمل من مصطÙÙ‰ كرم يكون ستاندرد بس الÙرش جلد,Ùˆ المواصÙات هذى غير متوÙرة بالوكالة

EniGma: you may have a point, but we all know that the best shop in Kuwait to do such things is e7saan.
Hasan.B: i’m not 100% percente sure but we had experainced similar actions by Lexus once.

This is an official response from Alsayer group Marketing Department:
As part of Alsayer mission statement which reflects the true spirit of Alsayer board and the emplyees specifically addresses the issue of honesty and integrity. “The Al-Sayer Group values of honesty, trust and personal integrity are at the heart of our business dealing”. As such. we totally deny any act that is not in line with our mission statement. We also deny any act of selling any fake parts or leather that is not Toyota or Lexus geniune.
We would like to challange anyone that can bring to us any vehicle that we sold with leather carrying none-genuine leather. This Prado (if from Alsayer) could have been bought by some one who would like to export it to another country or someone bought it with fabric seat but decided to install none geniune leather to it. In either case, we are innocent of any wrong doings.
I would encourage anyone with questions and conserns to visit our website and post his/her question/concern and Marketing department will honestly answer them.
