We all seen how the web is changing and the emergence of buzz words like, Web 2.0 which are site like: Myspace, and Facebook. So what is Social Shopping, its a fascinating idea where shoppers connect online and create a crowd on a certain product, when such products reaches a certain demand, the price goes down. Ie: lets say there is Mac City social shopper website, and the new Iphone is released for 320kd, if consumer all group together and tag the Iphone, reaching 15 purcheses to be made, then customers all go together and buy the new ipod. The Ipod price from 320kd will go down to 280kd, because of the large number of purchasers “15″. That is called crowed clouter. Check out this website of crowd purchasing. So do you think we should setup such a website and post the brands we want to buy (maybe Wii:P) by creating a crwod then going for the purchase?

Now this is really interesting
1. PRICE is going down as demand increases
2. i guess they need to attract a large and diverse crowd (sometimes this could be challenging)

Enigma, Laialy_q8..you both are thinking economic here, it does not work that way, but a nice way to tackle such a trend, these are perishable goods, and are sold in retail and everybody has, with little control…so when getting a large number of purchasers you get a better price, why do you thing large retail stores have cheaper products, because of bulk and whole sale purchasing, Like Sams club in the states or sultan center in kuwait
