As you can see this is my first post, and the blog is still under construction, but will be updated gradually. I ve been eagerly waiting to write in my blog and talk, discuss and advise on large number of issues. One major concern is the health epidemic we are facing in Kuwait and it is an epidemic, because forbes.com listed us as the 8 country in the world with obesity, in simple terms for 1 to every 3 Kuwaiti has either heart problems or is diabetic. And the other concern is small business and start-up, why this is a concern because if we Kuwaitis eat, work and sleep all day and do nothing about it, middle class
Kuwait will vanish and go under to much lower classes. Just imagine this: you use your credit card (NBK) to buy furniture (Ikea) then pass by a fast food (burger King) restaurant to get a bite to eat, all your transactions just went to one business owner in
Kuwait. Now how bad does that sound. Other consern is personnel finances, example no country in the world would give a loan up to 250,000 dollars or 70,ooo KD in cash, such actions can destroy a family if not taken or understood for the right reason, international banks make money from corporate transaction meaning nothing to do with consumers (me and you) but in Kuwait 73% of local bank profits come from consumer loans. How much do you think we rely on loans to live?Â
