Sounds simple enough, but when realizing that many places depend on the word very heavily without consumers noticing. The major problem is when we get use to such speedy transaction then suddenly it falls back again to a turtle pace. I’ll explain, TGI fridays has a secret rule they follow, they must take 6 minutes or less to get your appetizers on the table from the the time of the order. In Kuwait they average out at 14 minutes. NBK can give a customer a loan within 25 minutes. CFC can provide you with a loan via a cheque in 48 hours. See if you have noticed this, Pizza hut and Domino’s in Kuwait take 45 minutes and more to deliver a pizza, but Papa Johns takes less than 30 minutes and even states that. As a customer gets hungry the first think that pops in mind when wanting to order a pizza is Papa Johns due to its faster deliver, and they only have been in Kuwait for about 2 years compared to Pizza Hut. If you are a frequent visitor of share3 el ma6a3em (which i use too but not any more, bad and unhealthy food) observe your self and friends and see that after the order is given to the pushy guy taking the order, we say ebser3a ow 3ajel e 6alab…(okay i never said 3ajel but some do:P) We always want our demands to be met fast and without realizing that we start leaning towards places that serve us faster. Think and you will find out that you have encountered such an experience with many places in Kuwait and Speed plays a major role in your buying/purchasing decision.
