Okay so i can see where this is heading now, its the new Kuwaiti CRAZE! frozen yogurt every where! You got: Home berry, Pink berry, Yogen Fruz, Zero degrees, Cherriez and i know about another 3 more. This is an indicator to not enter the market, they are everywhere! With such perishable items and no barriers to entry market, the only winning model is to open in a heavy traffic place, avenue mall, 360 mall etc etc  that’s fine, if you have the capital to with stand rents and stay afloat. This is a very fast copy cat business where everybody could start, think of a business where its hard to copy and serves a niche market.  I once saw yogurt place in Gallaria 2000 mall, the place was so quite you can hear my mom hitting me with her slippers about the Wataniya deal i got her all the way from our home:p. Yes it may be cheap to produce and a high profit margin is associated with yogurt, but investing huge amounts especially that some are franchises require a lot of cash to maintain standards and expansion plans, my advice think of something else to start. How about a yogurt home delivery, opppps we got that too:p. Hmmmm how about  cup cakes infused with yogurt!!

After all that talk about yogurt, i feel like getting a pink berry original now:(

The word “Sikkaa” is an Arabic word that means “road”; it is used as a slogan in Kuwait from a long time ago. It describes the place where all the children play. One of the most played games -and taken as a hobby by most people- in Kuwait was and still is football.

Another thing i found out, that gamers are still not getting what am offerreing, so i will explain it again.

With digumz.com and a rental plan of lets say 13KD, you can rent 2 games on a daily basis and exchange them through out each day of the month for only a one time fee of 13KD.

Both the exchange and deliveries are free of cost.

Its time for me to stop talking about business and start one, so i started Digumz.com. An online game rental company where you can rent the latest games (PS3, Xbox360,Wii) for a flat monthly fee. The plans are at 7KD for one game, 13KD for 2 games and 18KD for 3 games, so this means you can have 2 games at a time when you subscribe to the 13KD plan and you can exchange the games on a daily basis. You can even keep a game and keep exchanging another. All the games will be delivered to your home.

I really hope the site is easy, its not live yet but will be by next week. When the site goes live, you log in, put your details and we only accept local Kuwaiti credit cards no debit cards. Then you create a wishlist of games in the “My Queue” section, with the most games you want to the least, and based on availability you get your games delivered to your home. The site will have many technical problems at the first phase so bare with me but will keep on fixing them. Below are some pictures of the store, the store is located in Salmiya, Salem Mubarak St, Omniya mall (Ibis hotel) floor M2, store number 33, underground parking is available.

I got sponsored by viva to the Small to Big program in the UK, i wont go to details about the selection process and bore you on how that worked:P but what i really learnt there was amazing.

What i will do is summarize the whole trip for you guys so you can get the maximum of what i learnt there. I will post about it in many post because one is not enough.

Most of the example given where about social media, its amazing how different i see social media after the course. You see before i thought social media is a non profitable investment, why? because the revenue stream is not clear.

Lets approach this from another view, (just as an example ,ok) Mark Zuckerberg approaches me to invest in his Face-book. My first stupid question would be, Yes you have a good idea but where is the revenue stream, he would answer ads. I would say ok so you have nothing special there. Just like yahoo or other sites with ads in them that pop out, bother you and have nothing to do with your interest! But here is the bomb shell, that people will so much like face-book and other social media sites that 500m users will get in.

500m means; the Kuwaiti population multiplied by 500 times in one site. Surely you will find a way to advertise too them!

You see with social media even if the revenue stream of the site may not be clear but not make a dime for years to come, but huge masses are registering everyday. This is a lesson i have learned there.

Remember financially  they just started to have a positive cash-flow, (google it) but huge investments are still going in the company because of its growth, these investors can see potential in the huge numbers registering there, but still cant find the best way to advertise and make sure that the users wont get bothered.

Seems like Jazzeera airways wants to give Wataniya the final blow after introducing free food on their planes. I guess many have heard that Wataniya are not doing well, and they just said in the newspapers that they are leasing out some planes they will not use in the future. So i guess they seem that they may go out of business. I have flown Wataniya and think they have an amazing service and great planes but its unfortunate that they may be going down.

But i love the brutality of Jazzeera airways as it gives them the final blow to the gut with offering its customers free food, making both airlines seem similar in benefits.
