I surly sympathize with people with heavy loans, I too have a loan, but this does not mean we start running after the MP that lies and uses these sleazy approaches to grab peoples attention and to state one day that he has stood for a Kuwaiti cause. Let me explain my point of view: to drop about 1 billion kd worth of loans is an uneconomical nor feasible solution, such would turn the Kuwaiti economy into chaos. Inflation would sky rocket and expenditure will push inflation level even higher and the value of the KD would drop, meaning buying a loaf of bread would cost 0.600 fils instead of the 0.190 fils. The Central Bank of Kuwait would not accept such an insane demand, and the consumers who are not paying regularlyare about 3% of that amount. So there is no reason for creating hope in peoples minds that will never see the light of day. Believe me people, this will never happen, nor taking a loan now thinking that they will pay them off is a smart decision. The only thing that the government could do is to help and advice the next generations so they wont fall in the same trap. Its not the government jobto pay consumers loans that they bought expensive houses, boats, cars and some goats, i’m not kidding there are some expensive goats out there and some buy’m and keep them in their farms, anyways i just hope that people become more attentive to there spending habits and try to save or cash in there loans in a faster way.

ok so what i get from what your saying is that if they drop the loans the prices will go high and our grocery bill or any other bill we usually pay will be higher? that means that the government is dropping the loans for those who put themselves in debt and expect us to pay their debt indirectly. that is complete nonsense i will not pay a fils for anything like that and from the beginning i was against it, you know what else i am against is the 100 kd a month for all students in the universities and collages that is a lot of money the government is spending that they could have used for something better and more useful, because trust me no one is using this money to buy books. all i can say is that i hope for the best.

CBA student: i agree, this 100kd has beneficial affect on students, when i was in KU, nobody useto buy the books, it was just some notes from the profs and thats it, even the ones taking the prevoius 100kd had no need for such…shame is that we learn to take advantage of the countries resources from a young age…

it is a shame i also read in the newspaper some students are saying that the 100 kd for november was late and that they were disappointed because they didn’t have enough money to buy books WHO BUY BOOKS IN THE UNI IN THE MIDDLE OF NOVEMBER even when i go buy books they do not cost over 30 kd
cause they had 40 percent of .
i do thank God that our country is generous but they opened themselves a door that will be really hard to close now they can’t take that allowance back cause people will protest. all i want is the best for the future of my country.
sorry to be of topic but i thought that this topic along with the loan dropping are similar they are both a waste of money .
and thank you

CBA student: bel 3aks, you are on topic, because thats the habit and style of money spending and taking advantage of Kuwait’s resources that cause future problems like the loan problem we have now. Thank you for your thoughful input
